I got a call from this number saying they were from some insurance firm or assessors, asking about a car crash claim I apparently made. I told them I haven’t had any accidents lately. They said sorry for calling me and then ended the call.

Today I got a call from this number, and the person said they worked for some sort of company that checks up on insurance firms. He asked if I was satisfied with how my car insurance claim was handled. When I asked him to specify the date of the accident, he told me it was in 2012. Thing is, I didn’t even have a driving licence back then! As soon as I pointed that out, the bloke got quite rude and just ended the call abruptly.

I got a call from this number out of the blue - they said they knew about some accident I had and were trying to help me get compensation. Totally shady cold calling stuff. Honestly, I wouldn’t pick up if I were you and would recommend blocking the number so they can’t bother you again.
