Keeps ringing me over and over!

This number has rung me loads over the past few weeks, usually once a day. I finally picked up today and some bloke asked for me directly, claiming he was calling from a car insurance company. I told him I didn’t own a car. Then he started saying something about me being involved in a car crash as a passenger a couple of years back, which is totally not true. After that, his friendly tone flipped and he got quite harsh before abruptly hanging up. I’m baffled by the whole thing and really don’t like that they already knew my full name.

This number keeps ringing my home phone like 3 times every evening after 6pm. Annoyingly, there’s never a message left on the answerphone. I’ve told Virgin about it since my number should be unlisted, but they aren’t doing anything. If it doesn’t stop soon, I’m thinking of dropping my landline altogether.

This number keeps ringing me, today was 08/11/13. Proper annoying how they just call and stay silent, no idea why. Over the last couple of weeks they’ve called me at least six times, always the same - no voicemail or anything. I’m done with these PPI calls, if I wanted it I’d sort it out on my own, cheers.

Got a ring from this number and the moment I picked up, they just cut me off. Got kinda annoyed and dialled 1471 to trace these muppets, but all I got was a voicemail telling me to hold on for an operator, probably charging me loads for waiting. Ended up hanging up. Later, I looked the number up online and found out it's a scam. So if anyone else gets a call from this, best to just block it and move on.

On the evening of October 24th, 2013, I got a call from this number that showed up on my caller ID and missed calls list. The bloke on the other end started chatting about some company - I didn't catch the name - and launched into a spiel about pensions and government-backed schemes. I told him I didn’t have a pension, but he kept pressing, mentioning Bank of England rates and all that. When I said I never had a pension, he insisted I probably had one at some point, then went back to the government scheme talk. I mentioned I’d had calls before from firms using the same 'government-backed scheme' line, only to try and sell me debt management plans after. I told him to take my details off their list and said goodbye. He was still blabbering when I hung up.
