I feel compelled to pick up the phone whenever it rings, just in case it’s something urgent. It’s incredibly frustrating to constantly be bothered by those pesky nuisance calls! Why can’t they just leave us be?

I'm absolutely at my wit's end with these incessant phone calls. My mum's in a care facility, and with that hangs the constant worry that I must respond to every ring, just in case something's gone awry. It's high time the authorities put an end to this dreadful cold calling! I received one bright and early at 7:05 this morning, thinking it might be an emergency with my mother. I bluntly told the caller to get lost, yet here they are, pestering me again at 1:55 this afternoon. It's simply too much!
