They told me I had only five minutes to call back and sort it, so I did. After doing a few steps they asked for, I cottoned on that it was dodgy and argued with them before hanging up. I then just switched off my laptop for about 15 minutes, and the alert finally went away.Microsoft3 yearsOur computer popped up a message about a Trojan virus and told us to ring a "Microsoft Support" number to sort it out. We rang them, but it didn’t take long before we realised it was dodgy. They then asked to get remote access to our computer, which felt really fishy.
