It's a right con with these appliance cover scams! I went into my "I've caught you out" spiel and they promptly disconnected. Can't help but chuckle, really!

Got a call just now from a foreign guy claiming he was ringing about appliance insurance. Rang the number back to check and found out it was linked to some scam in Belfast. Total waste of time!

Got a call from some guy named Ricky claiming he was with UK live. I told him I’d never come across that name before and just hung up.

I didn't pick up, and right after that, my phone just stopped working out of nowhere - pretty strange if you ask me.
