Had a ring from a Belfast number the other day but it cut off right when I answered. Been getting quite a few calls like that lately, some from the UK and others from Germany. Makes me think there’s some kind of scam network behind it all.

They told me my tv warranty had expired and that I needed to renew it straight away. Felt a bit pushy about it.

So I’m on 02 myself and just switched my plan not long ago. Got a call from someone saying they were 02, offering some kind of special deal. The call was super noisy like a busy call centre, didn’t sound like the normal 02 calls I usually get. Something just felt off, so I turned it down straight away. The guy was polite enough, did try to persuade me a bit but when I said no, he backed off. Definitely thought it was dodgy though.

Got a call from someone named “Nigel” who spoke with a strong Asian accent, asking for a “Mr David.” He didn’t say much about the reason for the call. When I told him he’d got the wrong number, he quickly ended the call. Seemed like it could’ve been a scam.
