I received a call from someone purportedly representing Sky Technical Support, asserting that there were issues with our broadband connectivity. Interestingly, they were correct about the intermittent service we’d been experiencing. However, when the caller requested my mobile number, I provided my husband’s instead. This seemed to agitate him as he pressed for my number too. I pointed out that if he were genuinely from Sky, he should already have my contact information. At that point, he abruptly thanked me and hung up. Quite the peculiar exchange, I must say!
