They ring me about three or four times daily but just cut off after a few seconds each time.

I've been getting calls from 01281498174 pretty often, usually more than once in the morning and about half an hour between them. When I answer, this American-sounding recorded message says it's TalkTalk and warns my internet is gonna be cut off soon. I usually just hang up straight away.

I ignored the call since the number was unfamiliar. When I dialled it back from a safe landline, it went straight to an automated voicemail that was full up, no space for new messages. Sounds like loads of annoyed people have already told these scammers to stop using that number. I’m pretty sure it’s just spam or a scam, so best to avoid picking up!
