got a call this morning around 8:15 from an asian woman who said she was calling on behalf of microsoft. she told me my computer had been hacked but i never said anything about that before. what creeped me out was she knew my last name and postcode exactly. i just told her my computer was fine and ended the call.

On Monday, a bank holiday, I got a call at 9:13 from a woman who sounded Asian. She asked if I was aware someone was using my computer for gambling. I told her that no one in my family did anything like that. Then she asked if we had another laptop at home. She claimed to be calling from Microsoft and wanted me to turn on my computer so she could fix it. I asked for her name and number, saying I'd call back. Suddenly, a man took over the call, pushing me to switch the computer on. When I asked who they really were, he started swearing and was really rude.

Had a right nuisance of a call this morning at half eight on Easter Monday from a bloke of Asian descent, insisting he was ringing from Microsoft to sort out our computer issues. The moment we brought up the Telephone Preference Service, he abruptly ended the call. Just another typical scam, if you ask me. I've since added the number to my blocked list.

Today at 9:13 in the morning, on this Monday bank holiday, I got a call from a woman who had an Asian accent. She said someone might be gambling using my computer. I told her no one in my household does that. Then she asked if there’s another laptop at home. She claimed to be from Microsoft and asked me to turn on my computer so she could fix it. I asked for her name and phone number, saying I’d call back. Suddenly, a man took the phone and kept pushing me to switch on my computer. When I asked who they really were, he started swearing and was really rude.

Hey, sorry to anyone who’s got a call from this number - it’s actually mine. I promise we’re legit, but something weird is going on, like our number’s been messed with somehow. When our phone rings and we answer, it sounds like it’s actually calling someone else. We’ve contacted TalkTalk and they’re sending an engineer this week to fix it. This whole thing has been a real hassle. We’ve even unplugged the phone now, so if you get any more calls from this number, I honestly can’t explain why.

Got a call from a guy saying he was from Microsoft trying to sort out my computer at about 8:30 on Easter Monday. As soon as I brought up TPS, he just dropped the call. Pretty obvious scam, blocking the number now.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be “Richard” from “Microsoft”. Told him straight away we’re on the telephone preference service so he shouldn’t be ringing us. He replied something like, “Madam, we actually set up the telephone preference service.” I just laughed and said, “That’s a good one!” and then he just hung up. Blocked him right away.

When I rang that number, I got through to some TalkTalk security check. That’s pretty funny!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft, telling me my laptop was hacked. They wanted me to open some app to "check the security" but I said no since I didn’t trust them. Then he started threatening me, saying he’d shoot me if I ever went to Pakistan. To top it off, he started abusing my family too, saying horrible things about what he’d do to them. Proper nasty guy.
