This morning I got a call from this number. A recorded message came on, claiming to be from BT, saying my internet service would be disconnected within 24 hours. It then told me to press 1 for more info or 2 to cancel something. Seemed a bit suspicious to me.

I got a call from this number earlier, but I didn’t pick up even though I was waiting for a delivery update. They rang me again later but I was away from my phone and missed it before it switched off. They tried one more time, and this time I answered with a simple “Hello.” A woman spoke but I could barely make out what she was saying, just a faint “Who’s this?” I told her my name, but then there was silence for a bit and eventually the line went dead. The fact I could hardly hear her makes me suspect it might have been a scam or some kind of sales call.
