Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent. She wouldn’t say who she was. Then she tried to get me to confirm my address. I said no way. She just hung up on me.

I received a call from a number I didn't recognise, and they inquired about a person I’d never heard of before. After that, they abruptly ended the call.

Some guy rang up pretending to be my mum’s doctor, but then asked if my 79-year-old mum would sleep with him. Proper weird.

Once more those U benefits lot keep ringing up from some call centre every single day. I’ve told them loads of times to stop calling us but they couldn’t care less about being a pain. My missus is disabled and has a tough time getting to the phone. If I ever knew where they’re located, even if it’s all the way in India, I’d go there just to make sure they won’t forget me any time soon.

This very same number phoned me a few days back. The bloke tried calling me by my name but totally messed up the pronunciation. Claimed he was Sam from U Benefits. I told him, “Sam, you’ve already called me,” then he just dropped the call.

I’ve had quite enough of this number bothering me! The first call came in at 8:25 this morning, and wouldn’t you know it, another one just rang through at 1 PM. It’s like clockwork, getting two or three of these nuisance calls nearly every day. When I do pick up, it’s often just dead air on the other end. Occasionally, there’s a chap with a thick accent trying to converse, but his English is so muddled that he just hangs up in the end. Honestly, this is becoming rather ridiculous!

02892 649108 called my husband earlier. When he answered, there was just silence and some background noises like a call centre. You can find those sounds online, no doubt about it. My husband said, "Are you going to speak or not?" then an Asian voice came on asking if he was Mr So and So. That was enough for us to know what was going on. When will these annoying scammers ever quit?

I received a call from a foreign-sounding individual purporting to be from Benefits UK. I'm inclined to think it’s a phishing scam, as they kept rehashing the same lines. It would be wise for the ICO to take action against this - it’s using a Northern Ireland number, but I suspect it originates from elsewhere entirely!

I've received at least ten calls from this number, but it's either completely silent or a man with a foreign accent who mumbles so much that I can't make sense of what he's saying. He usually cuts the call after a couple of minutes. It's rather annoying, really.

I've been receiving incessant calls that claim to be from 'UK Benefits', yet it's clear they originate from overseas despite showing a UK phone number. Definitely seems dodgy!

This number has phoned me a few times now, last time was at 8:15 this morning. Definitely a scam. A person with a strong Indian/Asian accent tried to ask me questions. They did know my name, which was a bit worrying at first, but then I thought anyone could just find your details in a phone directory these days!

Got a call early this morning from an Asian bloke, around 8 am. He already knew my name, but when I asked what he wanted, he just said something like "You Benefit." I asked again and he just said yes before cutting off the call. I kept telling him I couldn’t catch what he was saying. Seems like a total scam to me!

Early afternoon. Heard heavy breathing a couple times, then silence. I answered with a tired "Hello." A bloke spoke my name, sounded Asian, then started singing "She's so dangerous" before hanging up. Kinda made me chuckle but also felt a bit off - reminded me of a mate from years ago who sent dodgy messages. Looks like it’s just some new weirdos messing about now.

He asked if I was Mrs X (he knew my name but really butchered the pronunciation). Said he was Joe from U Benefits. Pretty sure he’s called me a few times already, trying to get some info. I just ended the call.

02892649108 called again today at 13:59, silent call as usual. They’ve been ringing at different times, so it’s probably some automated system or bot. Last time I answered, it was a person with a typical anglicised Indian name claiming to be from Benefits UK doing some survey. This is turning from annoying to worrying! I’m reporting them to the ICO and would urge others to do the same. Go to www.ico.org.uk and follow the instructions. TPS seems useless since these scammers use tech that gets past the rubbish protections our phones have!

Got a random call from a bloke with a South Asian accent, said he was 'Ron' from some place called 'You Benefit'. He just wanted a minute to ask a few easy questions about my home. Typical rubbish from these spam call centres over here, always using fake company names and fake caller names, plus spoofed UK landline numbers. Best to add them to your block list and ignore.

At almost 8 in the morning, I got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, telling me he’d ask me three questions and then delete my number. I went along and answered them fine, then he wanted me to say “Zurich Insurance Group” in my British accent. I hung up after that, but he rang back straight away twice more, demanding I repeat that phrase. When I asked who he was, he just called me an idiot! Proper bizarre.

This morning at 8:15, I received yet another call from this number-it's becoming a daily annoyance over the past week! When I mentioned my surprise at being disturbed at such an hour, the cheeky individual on the other end told me to stop barking like a dog. Absolutely insulting! I’d relish the chance to confront this chap and let him know exactly how I feel. They really ought to be dealt with. I’m fuming!
