Had a call from this number earlier today. It kept ringing quite a while before I got a voicemail. The message was left by a woman with a pretty strong American accent saying she was from HMRC and threatening legal action if I didn’t get back to them. Just a heads up, HMRC won't ring you up like this, so don’t be worried about any of their threats. If HMRC needs to reach you, they have your address already. I get calls like this every tax year trying to scam me. Be careful, best to ignore and don’t return the call.

I received a rather dodgy call claiming to be from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. They insisted I press one, or I’d face legal repercussions and penalties. Quite ridiculous, really!

Tried calling me, but swiftly disconnected when I picked up. As I'm on the Telephone Preference Service, it's clear this is a fraudulent attempt. I shall be reporting this number to the Information Commissioner's Office and making sure it gets blocked!
