I got a call from a woman with a strong Indian accent saying she was ringing from PC World. She wanted to know what kind of phone I was using. Then she started talking about some deal on a new phone. I told her I wasn’t interested, ended the call, and blocked the number straight away. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

They claimed to be from EE, but it definitely felt like a scam. The number looked like it came from Lisburn or somewhere nearby. The caller had a weird Irish accent, so I joked if it was actually President Biden messing about with me or if they’d send a message instead. Before I got a chance to hear from Joe, they just ended the call. Very odd!
