Sometimes I wish I could get a real person on the other end, just to have a bit of a laugh trying to sell them some nonsense back; but honestly, who’s got the energy for that? What really gets me is thinking about all the elderly folks who have to sit through those boring sales calls or scary warnings about fraud, only to realise later that they’ve lost precious time or money. It really shows how low things have sunk that these rip-offs are even seen as a real job. Proper nasty.

Sounds like just another robocall trying to confirm if the number is active to add it to their database. I’ve blocked the number now. Sometimes I wonder if there’s really someone behind the scenes so I could have a laugh trying to pitch them some rubbish product, but honestly, who’s got the time? I genuinely feel bad for all the elderly folks who end up stuck listening to these boring sales calls or scary warnings about fraud, only to find out they’ve lost their time or even some money.
