Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was Alan. He claimed there were loads of problems on my computer and asked me to switch it on. I told him I couldn't because I'd just been through a tough time with a family bereavement. After a bit, he just hung up on me. Then, yesterday, a different guy rang saying the exact same thing. Both said they were from BT. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang up saying he was from BT, telling me my internet was hacked and that I had to reset my router's IP or something. I told him I'd ring BT directly to sort it, and then he started going all stroppy and said my internet would be cut off if I didn’t listen. Obviously, I just hung up on him and surprise, surprise, I'm still online no problem.

Got a call from a woman who asked if she was talking to (my name). Then she said she needed to discuss my internet service or something like that? Bit odd really.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, she knew my name and was asking for me. Totally felt like a scam.
