5 yearsI recently had a rather unsettling experience with a male caller who claimed to represent Virgin Media's head office. He had the audacity to say there was an issue with our internet connection-even though we have no problems whatsoever! When I inquired about the location of his office, he simply said, "London." However, the number he rang from certainly wasn’t a London one. I checked through the 1471 service, and it turned out that the number he gave me didn’t match either. The chap didn’t take it well at all- resorting to foul language and insults like, “you b****, you f~~~~~g b****.” I calmly wished him well in life and promptly ended the call, blocking his number as soon as I could. It's crucial for everyone to stay vigilant; scammers are still lurking about. I told them I hadn’t noticed any problems. They got quite annoyed and ended up calling me rude names. I just wished them a good day and hung up.
