I answered the phone but stayed silent, and after a few moments of quiet, all I heard was a click signalling the call was over.

I got a random phone call from a man who said his name was “Max.” He spoke with an Indian accent and there was a lot of noise in the background, like he was in a busy call centre. He told me he was ringing from a company I supposedly had a one-year TV maintenance deal with and asked if I was happy with their service. When I asked him for proof of the contract, he just hung up straight away. I don’t have any such contract, so it’s clear the info he gave was fake. Seems like they were trying to scam me or just fishing for personal or financial details.
