Got a call from someone claiming to be with FreshBooks. It was out of the blue, so I just hung up. The bloke’s voice reminded me a lot of a random call I got not long ago from either Germany or Belgium. Watch out, folks.

Someone rang me saying they were from Openreach, warning that my internet could be at risk of being hacked.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Freshbooks, but I checked their site and there's no listing for an office in Bangor, so I'm guessing it was a call centre. The guy sounded genuine enough and didn’t push for any personal details. He even knew how long I’d been using Freshbooks. His only aim was to ask if there was anything they could do to make the service better.
