This sounds just like the warning someone posted a couple of years back. Seriously, don’t trust this guy and fingers crossed you haven’t shared any private details with him. It’s definitely a con!

A bloke called claiming he was with EE, but turned out he was just with some company looking to get you to check your phone deal, saying whatever you got isn’t worth it. Proper pushy bloke, speaking with a London accent, so i highly doubt he was actually ringin’ from the Belfast number he showed. Tried ringin’ back on that number myself but it just went unanswered then cut off. Seems really dodgy to me, so i just hung up straight away.
