Got a random call from a woman whose accent I couldn’t place, but it was clear English wasn’t her first language. Her English was pretty awful, which made me think it was a call centre somewhere. She claimed to be from ‘Amazon’ and mentioned an iPhone 11 I supposedly bought ‘last night’. She asked if I wanted to go through with the purchase. I decided to test her by asking some simple security questions, and then she dropped that she knew I lived in Liverpool. That’s when I knew it was just another dodgy Amazon scam. Definitely put her number on my block list.
