Today I saw a missed call from this number, which looked like it was local. They left a voicemail on my answerphone in a weird robotic tone saying I'd been billed £95 for an Amazon Prime renewal and if I wanted to sort it out to press 1. I didn’t bother calling back and went straight to check my Amazon account - obviously, nothing like that had happened. Seems like a total scam to me. I did try ringing them back, and after a while, some automated voice said “Thank you for ringing Capita,” but I’m pretty sure this isn’t a legit Capita number. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
