I got a call from 02890843736 with a recorded message claiming to be from Amazon, saying there was a strange transaction of £699 on my account. They gave a bunch of options to press during the message. I knew right away it was a scam since only my family knows my landline number - definitely not my bank, boss, or mates! Amazon wouldn’t have my number either. I blocked the number on my phone and told Amazon about this dodgy call. Watch out for these scammers, folks!
