Called me but didn’t say anything so I just blocked the number.

I use BT Call Guardian which means if the caller isn’t in my contacts, they gotta say who they are or it won’t ring through to me. This person didn’t bother saying anything and just ended the call. Classic scammer behaviour if you ask me.

I received a pre-recorded message claiming to be from our internet service provider, stating there were concerns regarding some illegal activity linked to our connection. They warned that our service could be cut off within the next two days unless we pressed either button one or two for assistance. I’m convinced this is a scam and absolutely not from our actual provider.

Got a call from a woman speaking with an English accent warning that my internet would be disconnected in 24 hours if I didn’t hit one. She didn’t say which company she was from, just threatened me with some “illegal activity” nonsense. Totally a scam trying to freak people out who aren’t careful. Pretty dodgy and definitely should be avoided.

Total rip off. This woman with a kind of English accent keeps telling me my internet's getting cut off in a day or two because of some "illegal stuff," and she wants me to press 1 or 2 right away. I get these calls nearly every week, switching between this one and a bogus Amazon one. I reckon plenty fall for it and end up getting scammed.
