I was disturbed six times during the night with a random voice message claiming that an alarm had triggered, even though I don't own any alarms or have any connection to G4S.

Please add this number to my blocklist! I was awoken by a call on my mobile at 1:30am. I called back from a fixed-line phone and was met with an automated message from G4S, apologizing for the disturbance, but stating that they had called regarding an alarm or similar incident. This is NOT the company that contacts me when my home or business alarm is triggered. I have no clue how or why they obtained my mobile number. This caller is nothing but a nuisance. I'm extremely frustrated as it took me a long time to fall back asleep!

Got a call on my mobile around 1:30am, totally woke me up. I rang back from my landline, only to get a recorded message saying I’d ‘reached g4s’ and apologising for the disturbance, mentioning an alarm or some sort of incident. Now, that’s definitely not the firm that handles alarms for my home or work. I’ve never even had any contact with g4s before. No clue how they got my number. Such a nuisance, proper annoying! Took me ages to drift off again after that.

I can't see why any legit firm would leave a number for you to ring back on an automated message if it wasn't proper. And seriously, why on earth would an alarm company be ringing me out of the blue? Then they go on about the problem possibly being fixed depending on the time I call, which just feels off. Something sketchy is definitely going on here.

I find great amusement in dealing with nuisance callers. In order to reach me, these individuals must go through a system where they have to press 1, 2, or 3. By the time they are able to get through to me, they have already become frustrated and end up hanging up. However, just out of curiosity, I do sometimes search for the number on Google afterwards. I can assure you, I have absolutely no business whatsoever with this specific number, 0289 078 5400. Ha ha!

This number rang me like 13 times between Sunday night and Monday morning - starting around 10:45pm then again at 11:20pm, followed by calls at 1:05am, 1:37am, 2:10am, 2:46am, 3:21am, 3:54am, 4:34am, then early morning at 6:30am, 7:07am, 7:08am, and 7:10am. Lucky for me I switched my phone to silent mode before crashing out, otherwise I wouldn’t have got any proper sleep!
