Some lady with a strange accent rang saying she was from BT. I just ended the call straight away.

They claimed they got my number through BT, but I told them I’m not even a BT customer. Then I let them know I’m registered with the TPS and warned I’d report them.

Some bloke said he was with BT Openreach, saying my computer was full of viruses. I called him out for being a scammer, which seemed to annoy him a bit. I just played along to find out what he wanted next. He asked me to open the Event Viewer on my computer, but then he just abruptly ended the call.

This lady with a really strong foreign accent called me claiming she was from BT. She said my internet had been hacked or something and asked if she could get into my computer using the OneDesk app. sounded fishy to me so I didn't let her anywhere near it.

Got a call from an Asian woman doing some kind of survey, but her accent was really hard to get. She asked if I owned the house, what brand my TV was, and if I had a dishwasher and its brand. What freaked me out was that she already knew my address and postcode. That part made me feel uneasy.
