Caller had a really thick Irish accent, and I couldn’t quite get what they were saying about care and the NHS. I ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from a Belfast phone number saying they were calling from the NHS about a appointment I supposedly had soon. I do have a follow-up scheduled for next month, but this bloke was asking for my personal info and refused to say much else. Obviously, I didn't hand over anything. Could be a scam for all I know, but there’s a chance it was genuine too. I’m a bit undecided right now.

I received a rather curious call yesterday, followed by a voicemail concerning my daughter's forthcoming appointment. They had her full name, which felt a bit unsettling. Then, today, I got another call where they wanted to check if the appointment still suited us, but then they started requesting my personal details like my address. I knew they shouldn't need that sort of information, so I firmly declined and queried why they were ringing from Belfast. The caller claimed to be acting on behalf of Mid and South Essex hospital, but I find that hard to believe. So, I promptly said no and ended the conversation. Having previously worked in the field, I'm well aware of proper protocols. It's essential to stay vigilant and not divulge any sensitive information. I've reported the incident to the hospital as well. Stay safe, everyone!
