7 yearsGot a call from a number I didn’t recognise just now, no message left either. Feels like one of those annoying robo calls again.7 yearsI’ve had this number ring me on multiple occasions, yet it seems they aren’t able to take any incoming calls. Quite peculiar, isn't it?7 yearshaha had a call from some number linked to yell dot com but the call was actually from delhi. felt like a local call but honestly rubbish. they use one of those auto diallers that just checks if someone picks up and hangs up right away if you do. if you do pick up, they figure out the line is active and ring back later with a real person - who barely speaks any english and ends the call fast if you try ask anything.Yell. comDelhi7 yearsDon’t fall for them, they’re all the same scam! Loads of those 0300 numbers use identical tricks, so I just block them as soon as they ring. I use BT Call Protect (no, I’m not working for BT or anything, just sharing info) and it’s free to use. You can pay for extra features if you want, but basically if you get a dodgy call, just dial 1572 and follow the options, usually pressing ‘1’ twice. It’s super simple and you can even do it online after checking who called you. I really can’t stand those cheating muppets ringing with fake calls.BT7 yearsI got a call but they didn't bother leaving any message, so it couldn't have been anything urgent. The number's unfamiliar to me, so I'm guessing it's either some annoying telemarketer or one of those usual scams. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.7 yearsGot a call that seemed dodgy, probably coming all the way from Bombay rather than Belfast. Just a heads up, scammers don’t really care if you block their numbers. Most call blockers only let you block so many numbers before they stop working properly, so these crooks just keep trying. The best thing you can do is report these calls to the police through the Action Fraud website - that really annoys them! Funny enough, these gangs know the police in the UK and India sometimes team up to catch them, so reporting helps!MumbaiBelfastAction FraudUK7 yearsThis number has been ringing me loads lately. The first time I actually answered, there was just silence on the other end. When they called a second time, I ignored it because I don’t usually pick up if I don’t recognise the number. Then, like two minutes later, they called back again. Really annoying!7 yearsjust got a scam call, so annoying!7 yearsGot a call while I was driving, didn’t pick up since it seemed dodgy. No voicemail either, so just went ahead and blocked the number. Pretty sure it was spam.7 yearsGot a voicemail from someone pretending to be HM Revenue & Customs, saying I'm under investigation for tax evasion. Total HMRC scam! They never actually ring you up; they always contact you by letters or official emails. Just blocked the number.HM RevenueCustomsHMRC7 yearsSomeone rang me but ended the call almost straight away, no idea why.7 yearsI missed a call from an unknown number, and when I tried to ring back, it just ended the call straight away without it even ringing.
