I just received a text notifying me about an appointment booked at the Royal Victoria Hospital's regional infertility clinic in Belfast. It mentioned quite ominously that there’s a £150 fee for any missed appointments and provided a number to ring if one is unable to attend. Seeing as I’m based in London and not even at the stage of needing infertility assistance, I can't fathom why a hospital in Belfast would have me on their radar! This has all the hallmarks of a scam, doesn’t it?
