I got a call from someone saying they were with BT. When I asked them to verify my account number, they couldn’t really give me a straight answer. Instead, they tried to get me to open an email with some kinda code to click on. I said no way until they properly confirmed my account details. Then the woman, who sounded like she had a South Asian accent, got rude and told me to “get lost, ma’am” before hanging up. Bit cheeky if you ask me.
