Got a call from some dodgy number claiming to be from GB Handsets, said they could block scams or something. Sounded like a total rip-off to me, definitely a scam trying to get info or money. Stay clear of these types of calls, they’re just after a trick.

On 17th November 2020, got a call on my BT landline from someone with an Indian accent asking for me by my name. When I asked who they were, they didn’t give a proper answer but mentioned something about me being on a list for making lots of nuisance calls? Bit confusing, can’t tell if they meant scams or something else. Didn’t trust it at all so I just hung up. Probably some kind of scam trying to get info or make me press buttons. Didn’t want to take any chances. Number was 02890 612169, Belfast area.
