I keep getting calls from this number all the time. Whenever I pick up, they just hang up straight away. About ten minutes later, they call me again. I heard it’s one of those TalkTalk scam calls, so I’ve decided it’s not worth picking up anymore.

Had a call from someone saying they were with Talk Talk, telling me there was an issue with my router and viruses on my computer, and even mentioned my account number. I didn’t have my computer on at the time, so I didn’t confirm anything. When I asked for some sort of ID, she put me through to her manager, who honestly didn’t sound very genuine and then just dropped the call. Seems like a classic scam to me.

She said she was calling from Talk Talk regarding my internet but as soon as I asked for more details, she just ended the call.

I decided not to pick up since I’ve been getting loads of calls like this, mostly scams I think. Ever since I’ve been with TalkTalk, it feels like my phone info’s been compromised. Maybe this one was legit, but I wasn’t taking any chances. Just wanted to check who was behind the call.
