I got a call about switching my gas and electric provider, they said they were from Belfast but honestly the way they talked sounded just like one of those Indian call centres. Not really sure if it's legit or not, felt a bit off.

Got a call from some place claiming to sort out gas and electric switchovers and doing some Yellow Pages business promos. The number looked like it was from Belfast, but I reckon it was actually a call centre somewhere in India or South Africa - the accent was hard to get at all. Ended up blocking the number and giving my phone a good clean after that!

I’ve been getting calls from Promise Life Insurance but they keep switching their number, just changing one digit each time. It’s really annoying because I can’t block them properly. Feels like they don’t want you to hang up on them.
