What a shocking way to conduct business! The Yellow Pages is a thing of the past, and now they appear to believe that Yell.com can take its place. Well, it certainly can’t and won’t. I’ve been receiving calls from this dreadful outfit which leave me quite unsettled. They buzz my phone multiple times, yet never bother to leave a message. It gets rather eerie, not knowing who’s on the other end and what they want. It’s an utterly shoddy way of conducting business. Honestly, in this modern era, one would anticipate a more thoughtful approach from firms like these. Yet, it seems the guidelines are crafted by the usual crowd, oblivious to the fact that such practices might come off as intimidating, particularly to women.
