Got a call from a bloke with an Irish lilt claiming he was ringing from UPS about a parcel arriving tomorrow. He wanted my mobile number to send me the info but i wasn’t having any of it. Asked him instead to give me the tracking number over the phone but he just got all rude and refused. When I called it a scam and said I’d report him to the coppers, he just bluntly told me to shove off with some very colourful language. Totally dodgy behaviour!

Just got a call and, silly as it sounds, my mum ended up giving them her number.

Someone said they had a letter for me and needed my mobile number because apparently UPS would ring me to say when it’s being delivered. I know UPS never sends personal letters, so I didn’t give them any details and just said no.
