So, earlier today I flagged this number as fake. Since then, I’ve had the same exact call from different numbers: first twice from withheld numbers around 10:51 and 12:10, then from 0049276033060, and later from 01664543948. When they’re finally nailed, do you reckon the regulator will take legal action for harassment? Or maybe a smarter move would be for HMRC to jump in, slap them with triple the amount of any dodged tax from these scams, and send bailiffs round straight away. That’d probably hit them harder.

These fraudsters really think I’ll buy their nonsense. Just because they toss in a few fancy tech-sounding terms doesn’t mean I’m gonna believe my internet will be ‘cut off’ by some dodgy outsider. I can’t wait for the time when it’s mandatory for callers to show their real number instead of hiding in the shadows.
