2 yearsGot loads of texts from someone who said they worked for Tesco Mobile. I kept trying to end the call but they wouldn’t stop, so eventually I just blocked the number. Used their own number to mess about a bit, so they weren’t getting anything done.Tesco Mobile2 yearsDefinitely one of those annoying spam calls - they didn’t even bother leaving a message. Bit silly really, I hardly get calls from Northern Ireland. Best thing to do is just block the number.Northern Ireland2 yearsLoads of dodgy calls coming through lately.2 yearsGot a call from an Irish number just now, but I didn’t pick up since I usually don’t get calls from Ireland. They didn’t leave any voicemail or message either.Ireland2 yearsGot a call earlier from some lady claiming to be from Vodafone, saying there was a 30% discount available. Something didn't feel right, so I just told her I was tied up and ended the call. Didn't want to get caught up in any of that.Vodafone4 yearsGot a call from some bloke claiming to be with O2, said he wanted to chat about my contract. He spoke with a weird accent and said he was from this promotions dept. and offered me a big discount on my plan. Ended up feeling like he was just trying to fish out my personal details. Definitely wasn’t on the level.4 yearsI ended the call since they couldn't show any proof they were actually from Sky.Sky4 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from my mobile network, 02, asking for my personal info. Definitely a scam, so I just blocked the number straight away!4 yearsSomebody rang me saying they were contacting me regarding my O2 account. I asked them how they got my phone number since I’m not with O2. They said something about getting it from a website. I then asked which website they meant. That’s when they just told me to f*ck off. I asked if they were trying to scam me and they admitted they were. I told them to get lost and ended the call. Stay clear of this number, it’s definitely a scam.4 yearsGot a dodgy call, best to just block it straight away.4 yearsI answered the phone and just said hello, then out of nowhere an automated voice just said goodbye. What even is that?! It’s so frustrating having to be on edge every time some unknown number rings you!4 yearsGot two calls from this number, both times flagged as possible fraud. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.4 yearsI picked up and the bloke said he was ringing from O2, offering me 30% off my mobile bill. The guy sounded Indian and there was loads of background noise, like a busy call centre. He told me he’d send a couple of texts - one with a code he said not to share, to confirm my details, then another to prove he was legit. I told him I was suspicious it might be a scam, and he got all defensive, saying he could resend the code ten times to show he was the real deal. I didn’t bother trusting him and just ended the call. Afterwards, I got three texts from him - the last one even claimed I’d qualify for a free Samsung tablet because I’d apparently bought an S23 recently (which isn’t true, I’d already cancelled). That message had a dodgy link to click on too. Definitely looks like a scam to me. I wouldn’t trust that caller at all. I'll ring O2 myself to check if I’m actually eligible for any discounts.SamsungO24 yearsTried calling back after no answer but kept getting no connection at all.Submit Your Own Report (028 8908 1819)
