Got a call today, 26/11/2019, around 3:05pm. The person said it was O2 and asked if I had rung them like 5 or 10 mins earlier. I hadn’t called at all. Not sure if it was legit or a scam. The bloke spoke with a strong Northern Ireland accent.

This call centre keeps ringing me like 3 or 4 times a week even tho I've already asked them not to contact me for marketing. I've never been this irritated by any firm before, honestly. They must be wasting loads of time and money on their workers. If they reckon they’re linked to O2, they're a total joke, just like BREXIT. Seriously, watch out and avoid these lot at all costs!

This call centre got in touch with me before and I wasn’t convinced by their security checks. I told them I wasn’t the account holder, then tried using a rough voice and asked if the call was being recorded. The person on the other end said no!

I went with MMD COMMUNICATIONS for an O2 upgrade and they sorted me out with a cracking offer that came with 6 months of Netflix included, which was proper useful. The team there were super friendly and helpful too :) Definitely would recommend them to anyone :D

Normally when someone from o2 calls, they introduce themselves and say where they’re calling from. This bloke just jumped straight into asking if I’m eligible for a contract upgrade, no proper intro like ‘Hello, I’m so and so from o2’. Since I’m not the account holder, I gave him my mum’s number and told him she doesn’t deal with account stuff over the phone - she prefers going into the shop. Still, he insisted everything could be handled there and then, wouldn’t even consider her visit to the store. I reckon the people saying this number is legit are probably part of the scam. Always better to be cautious and head to the store yourself when it comes to upgrades, don’t get caught out!

Steered clear of this one - rang up O2 and they said it’s definitely not one of their numbers. They warned me not to hand over any security info if someone from that number rings. I’ve got a SIM-only plan straight with O2, never bought a phone through a store or anything, so no chance this number should be ringing me out of the blue.

For a few years now, I've been upgrading my phone through a call centre located in Coalisland, Northern Ireland. This centre manages several O2 shops around Northern Ireland and Scotland. Every time I ring them up, I get a polite and professional service, plus they always sort me out with an excellent deal.

Before they talk about anything to do with my account, they always do the proper security checks. Then they find the best offer for either a new Sim-only plan or a handset upgrade. They even send the new phone to my address at no extra cost.
