This has all the signs of a bank scam, so best just to put the phone down straight away.

Looks like a classic banking scam to me. When I picked up, there was just a recorded voice saying a payment of £300 was declined due to it being from a new company I supposedly hadn’t dealt with. The weird part was it never said which bank they were from, nor did it say who they wanted to talk to. Sounded sketchy, so I just hung up straight away. Wouldn’t recommend engaging with this one.
