Got a call at 9:48am on the 9th January 2018 from this number. The bloke on the phone had a strong Asian accent and I could barely catch what he was saying, but it seemed like one of those “survey” calls. It's the second time I've been rung by something like this this morning. You always get that strange pause just before they pick up, which for me is a dead giveaway that it’s probably a scam. The accent just seals the deal, sorry if anyone thinks that’s rude, but that’s just how it feels in my experience.

I didn't pick up since the number was unfamiliar, and by the time my answerphone kicked in, they had already ended the call.

Gave me a bell this morning but there was nothing on the other end. They rang again just now, asked to confirm my identity and inquired about my age group, which I politely declined to disclose. Clearly, it’s just a survey, and I know that engaging would only lead to a flood of unwanted promotions. I've promptly added this number to my block list.

They asked if I was the mum, spoke about my daughter but wouldn't say who they actually were! Proper secretive about it.

Early this morning at about 8, I got a call on my landline from 02886730499, with someone asking for me by name. I told them I wasn’t part of their family, and they quickly lost interest. Pretty clear it was just one of those telemarketers.

this number phoned me twice this morning, once at 8ish and then again about half ten. i got a call centre person on the line, sounded asian, asking for me personaly. i told them it wasnt me but they kept going with some marketing spiel. i just started talking nonsense till they gave up and ended the call.
