This number has called me three times over the past few mornings, all between 9 and 11 am. It just rings a few times then stops, leaving a missed call. But when I try to call back, a recorded message says the number isn’t valid. So how can it be calling me in the first place? It's really odd.

Loads of silent calls, they never say a word when I answer. If I mention reporting them to the TPS (which I’m signed up with), they just hang up straight away. But that doesn’t seem to put them off, they keep ringing back multiple times every day. They always cut off before my answering machine picks up. Yesterday, I got a call from a lady speaking with a foreign accent, claiming it was about my BT bill. We don't even use BT, so I told her firmly to get lost. Since then, this morning she’s rung four times early in the morning - half past six, seven, half past eight, and again half past nine - waking my kids up. I've picked up every time, but there’s been silence on the line. Pretty sure it’s the same number as yesterday. I reckon it’s about time I blocked it.

Got a call early morning at 08:15 on Tuesday, 4th July 2017 claiming to be from BT. Thing is, I’ve never had an account with them. I mentioned that to the caller and, suddenly, the call just dropped. Feels like a dodgy attempt to trick people into giving bank info, definitely a scam in my opinion!

Got two calls earlier today, the first one was silent as if someone was just listening. The second was way harder to understand, a woman with a foreign accent claiming to be from BT. I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, offering three free months. The first caller was a guy with an obvious foreign accent. When I asked him when I last paid my BT bill by Direct Debit, he quickly handed me over to his “manager” Ruby, who also spoke with a heavy foreign, possibly East Asian, accent. She completely ignored my question and transferred me to her “manager,” another woman who wasn't very polite and had the same kind of accent. I told her this sounded like a scam and asked her to prove she was legit. I then explained I haven’t had a BT account for over 20 years. I’ve since blocked the number.
