Seems like this number has popped up again after a break. I looked it up here and will be blocking it just like all the other ones that keep bothering me every single day from different numbers. Just like others have mentioned, this never-ending nuisance really shouldn’t be legal or even accepted as normal behaviour.

Got a call from a recorded voice pretending to be HMRC, saying I owed money for some sort of tax dodging and warning I'd be arrested. Definitely a scam - if you ring back, they probably hit you with expensive charges and try to scare you into paying up. Best just to hang up and block the number!

Got a call from someone claiming I’d hit their car. I hung up but they rang me back after a few minutes. Now I’m just having a laugh answering in a different accent every time they pop up again. Fingers crossed I’m not racking up a huge bill!
