My kid got a call from a number we didn’t know so I just ignored it. Didn’t pick up at all.

I've had a call from this number twice now. The person on the line claimed to be from Virgin and told me I had to update my information, especially my bank details. Seemed quite dodgy to me.

No idea who called me, probably one of those scams. They didn’t bother to leave any message either.

I think if you’re switching from Virgin Media to O2, you’ll likely be offered this choice to turn off O2 voicemail. Pretty common for those moving over, I’d say.

I have no connections to Ireland at all, so when I got a call from there, I just ignored it. Seems like that was the right call after all.

ANNOYING CALLS, CLAIMING TO BE FROM VIRGIN, VODAFONE, OR GIFFGAFF. WHEN I ASKED FOR MY CUSTOMER REF NUMBER, THE WOMAN COULDN'T PROVIDE IT. SHE THEN SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HER SYSTEM BEING OFFLINE.
I WARNED THEM THAT THIS NUMBER IS UNDER SURVEILLANCE AND TOLD THEM TO NEVER RING AGAIN. THESE SCAMMERS REALLY DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR OFFICES CHECKED OUT BY AUTHORITIES.

Had some caller with an Asian accent pretending to be from Virgin Media. The moment I told them they'd reached the police headquarters, they just hung up straight away! Happens so many times these days.
