They called me the first time but I ignored it. Then, while I was going through these reviews, they rang again so I kinda gave ’em the cold shoulder. Said they were from Benefits UK or something.

My phone keeps ringing nearly every day with someone saying they're from Benefits UK. The moment I start asking questions, they just cut me off. Definitely seems like some dodgy lot!

I'm from close to Ballygawley and usually I don't mind taking calls from local numbers. But when I answered this one, some woman with an accent started askin if I was the missus. I just ended the call straight away, felt proper annoyed. How do these scammers get our local digits? Anyway, I've blocked it now.

Just like the last time with Benefis UK. I'm curious though, they definitely aren’t based at the 028504 spot, right? That number is just a few doors down from my place. So how are they managing to use that local number? Do they spoof it or something to make it seem like they’re calling from 028504?

Got a call from a bloke claiming he was with Benefits Claim UK. He started asking things like what age group I belonged to, if I owned a computer, and how to say my surname properly. I didn’t respond to any of his questions, and he ended up just hanging up.

Got called by this number thrice today. I picked up each time, but they just hung up on me! Since I’m at work, maybe they don’t like talking to a business? Either way, a quick “wrong number” would be a bit of common courtesy!

Got a call from a guy claiming to be from Virgin Media, said there was a problem with my internet and wanted me to switch on my computer so he could fix it. I wasn’t convinced, so I asked for his contact details to check with Virgin Media. I ended up reporting the number to Virgin Media and asked them to get in touch and look into the caller. Definitely a scam, watch out! I’d recommend telling your phone company to block the last number if they can.
