The caller insisted their inquiry was safeguarded by the Data Protection Act, yet the details they had were linked to a family member who’s never owned this phone number. To my astonishment, the individual on the other end was decidedly impolite, suggesting I had squandered his time after he had cold-called me. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!
