I answered a call from an 0288 number and there was just silence on the other end. Not sure I've ever seen that prefix before. Could this be some kind of scam? Feels a bit suspicious to me.

This number rings at all sorts of odd hours, both day and night. Whenever I answer, the line goes quiet for a bit. One time, nobody said a word but I could hear what sounded like an office environment - phones ringing and loads of chatter in the background.
