I received calls from two different numbers: 028811419350 and 03333034362. The individual started by claiming to represent Three Network, then switched to saying he was from Carphone Warehouse, even providing an address for their London branch. However, it was evident he was not a native English speaker; he seemed to have an accent that suggested he might be from India. To top it off, the email he sent regarding an offer had content lifted straight from O2’s communications. I’ve searched for any similar deals online but found nothing that matches. This is now in the hands of the police!

Got a call from this number a few times, answered once but kept quiet, and they just ended the call. Sounds like one of those scammy calls to me.

I received a call from someone who insisted he was reaching out on behalf of my mobile provider, EE, stating that he could slash my bills by a hefty 35% for the upcoming three months. He then proceeded to say that all he required was for me to respond to a few queries, after which he would formalise the discount. No question about it, this is a scam!

I got a call from someone pretending to be with EE, offering to knock 20% off my next three bills. When I started asking them questions, they got all mixed up and just hung up saying goodbye. Definitely a scam, so watch out!

I was a bit shocked when it turned out the call went straight to voicemail, and it was a message from Carphone Warehouse.

It's quite worrying how they have my full name, address and postcode. When I told the caller I was going to report them to the police, they just ended the call straight away. These calls should definitely be tackled by the authorities, especially since they target people who are more vulnerable.
