Received a dodgy call claiming they could lower my phone bill. It felt very sketchy and certainly put me on high alert!

It prompted me to have a look at my voicemails. But why on earth would it do that?

Some bloke called me pretending his name was Jack, kept harrassing an elderly lady for her bank info. He kept pestering her to hand over her details and even told her to pop down to the bank to fetch the info. Every time she shut the phone, he’d ring right back. He phoned her like four times in just 5 or 10 minutes. Finally, he only backed off after she warned she’d involve the police.

I just ignored the call.

Got a call from 02880788442 on the 21st April at about 4:14pm. I couldn’t pick up so it went to voicemail, but nobody left a message. Just another annoying call, really.

The person calling never gave a name and just hit #, so CallGuardian stopped the call from coming through to my phone again.
