The TPS doesn’t seem much use for calls coming from outside the UK. This number showed up as Carrickmore in Northern Ireland. Seriously, BT and the others need to step up their game.

Got a call for the third time today from Habit & Lifestyle. The person on the phone, Janek, had a really strong Indian accent that was hard to understand. She wanted to chat for about 40 seconds, but she had my name wrong, though I still said yes. I asked Janek to spell her name, and when I queried where she was calling from, she just hung up. It's a bit sad, really - feel sorry for these callers trying to earn a living rather than the company itself.

Got a call on my landline around 12.27 today, from a number I didn’t know. When I rang back, it showed up as not recognized. Then about ten mins later, I got another call from a number starting with 00, but they kept hanging up. This happens a lot. I reckon it’s from abroad, maybe the Netherlands with the 0031 code, trying to see if anyone speaks their language. Don’t let it get on your nerves or mess with your calm - it only bothers you, not them. Some people call it mindfulness, I just think it’s good old common sense or just forgiveness. Sorry for sounding all preachy!
