I received a call from someone with a pronounced Asian accent, who was insisting that he could help reduce my phone contract bills. Strangely, though, he wasn’t able to name my current provider when I asked. Very suspicious!

He says you could get a 30% reduction on your mobile bill since you’re a reliable payer and makes you feel special. It’s all rubbish - they’re just after your bank info. Better to ring up your mobile provider directly and see if they can offer a better plan. That usually works out well.
