First time I just got a load of crackling and then they hung up on me, happened again second time as well. Proper rubbish.

I called our landline twice and gave a proper greeting, but all I got was some voice just saying hello, then nothing and they hung up. What’s the deal with that? Sounds like it could be another scam, maybe CSAM stuff? Is this what’s happening in Northern Ireland now, with phishing or spoof callers trying their luck?
